EPA - Climate Resilience for Water Utilities - Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA

The Environmental Protection Agency’s CRWU initiative provides water utilities with practical tools, training and technical assistance needed to increase resilience to extreme weather events. As part of that project, Rock Creek was asked to create six short videos, each featuring a different water utility from across the country, speaking about their experience using the Climate Resilience And Evaluation Tool (CREAT). This video features the Manchester-by-the-Sea water utility and how CREAT has given them a glimpse into the future.

Rock Creek was responsible for all creative aspects of these short environmental documentaries. We researched each utility’s specific story and created scripts to visually tell their stories. We traveled to each utility, shot interviews and b-roll, often using our 4k drone for fantastic images of water treatment facilities and the surrounding landscape. During the editing phase we also created product branding graphics and animations.
