James Culcasi

Before joining Rock Creek in 2023, James graduated with a Film and Media Arts degree from American University and started his career in production with the goal of learning how to become a Swiss Army Knife on set. Throughout his decade of experience, James gravitated toward working behind he camera. He made it a point to seek out work in different departments in both production and postproduction, in order to be the most effective team-player possible. He is always searching for new ways to learn, adapt, and grow in order to tell more effective and powerful stories. 

Outside of work, James enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, backcountry camping, and fishing.
